Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. This policy explains which cookies kickstart.bh and the Kickstart members’ area use, and how you can control them. For how we handle personal data in general, see our Privacy Policy.

Your choices

When you first visit, we ask whether you accept non-essential cookies. Nothing non-essential is set, and no analytics, advertising or embedded content from other sites is loaded, until you agree. You can change your choice at any time: open Cookie settings. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may stop sign-in and bookings from working.

Essential cookies (always on)

Cookie Purpose Duration
ks_consent Remembers your cookie choices. 6 months
wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_* Keep you signed in to the members’ area securely. Session, or 14 days if you choose “Keep me signed in”
wordpress_test_cookie Checks that your browser accepts cookies when you sign in. Session
wp-settings-* Kickstart staff only: remembers admin screen preferences. 1 year
Hosting / caching cookies (e.g. _lscache_vary) Make sure signed-in visitors see up-to-date pages. Session

The members’ area may also use your browser’s local storage to remember interface preferences on your device. It is not used for tracking.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

If we use an analytics service (such as Google Analytics, which sets cookies like _ga and _ga_* for up to 2 years), it helps us understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. It loads only if you accept analytics cookies.

Marketing cookies and embedded content (only with your consent)

Advertising measurement (for example the Meta or LinkedIn pixels) and content embedded from other sites (for example YouTube videos or Google Maps) can set their own cookies and receive your IP address. These load only if you accept marketing cookies; until then you’ll see a placeholder instead.
